Well, today is the day that we get to see the team begin it's quest to win the Gold Cup. Landon Donovan will be healthy which will be vital for a victory tonight against Canada. Also, It is rumored that Josh Simpson, the equivalent to Donovan for the USA on Canada's national team, is possibly going to be limited tonight or even out of the match due to an injury he sustained. This should be a good game that sees the American's rebound from a disappointing performance against the World Champion Spaniards.

KEY MATCHUP
Canada's Backline vs. USA's Attack
Compared to what the USA has faced as of late, the backline of Canada is very weak. The USA should be on the good end of ball possession and should see plenty of shots on goal.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE
The USA Forwards making a name for themselves. We need Altidore, Agudelo, or anyone for that matter to really stand up and show some improvement and hope for the forward position for the USA. While Davies isn't playing this go around and is most likely our best forward, we need someone to step up and score. We need someone who can score goals and make a habit out of it at the forward position.
FINAL PREDICTION
The Americans come out strong and put away Canada and keep their streak alive of not losing in the Gold Cup group stage. The USA plays well enough for the victory, but shows some signs that they still have room for improvement. Dempsey and Altidore score for the USA and kicks us off with a nice, well needed victory against the neighbor's up north.
